Each year on Earth Day, the Devens Eco-Efficiency Center and EcoStar rally the local businesses and organizations to come together and take part in community various betterment projects. These projects not only enhance the local environment, but they bring businesses and organizations together and provide social networking opportunities and help them learn more about their surroundings and understand that they are part of a natural as well as business community. These events are also in line with and can help businesses achieve EcoStar Standard #21— Involvement with Community Environmental Projects. |
